A travel notice found on the official website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns all US citizens to avoid travels to Ghana due to COVID-19.
The noticed which was posted on December 02, 2020 puts Ghana in a level 4 category.
“This is the highest advisory level due to greater likelihood of life-threatening risks. During an emergency, the U.S. government may have very limited ability to provide assistance. The Department of State advises that U.S. citizens not travel to the country or to leave as soon as it is safe to do so,” the site explains.
Ghana has since recorded 733 new cases as at January 17, 2020 with 356 recovered and 5 including National Security boss, Joshua Kyeremeh dead.
