NKZ boss, Guru has hit back at Kuami Eugene following an interview the latter granted on Adom TV a few days ago.
Guru in a lengthy post on his social media platforms schooled Kuami Eugene on industry dynamics. He goes on to caution the ‘Rockstar’ that he would not be with Lynx Entertainment forever, therefore, he should make sure not to have any problems with them when the time comes.
“… I know that you will not be under Lynx Entertainment forever but remember not to have any issue with Lynx Entertainment before you leave because those that exited couldn’t maintain the hype…”
He goes on to point it out to Kuami, he did not go begging for collaboration but instead he wanted Kuami Eugene to know he [Guru] appreciated his craft.
“…Point of correction I never begged for a Collaboration. I didn’t ask for Collaboration because I wanted a hit song, I have a lot of hit songs and I’m proud of that. I wanted you to know I appreciate your craft does why I wanted us to work together and nothing more. I wish you well. Thank You”

Dear Kuami Eugene,
I admire your hardwork and how well you have come. I am already in my 13th years in this industry and i have been able to give back to back hits. I made sure I had not less than 4 hits songs every year and in 2014 i gave 10 MEGA hits in one calendar year, pic.twitter.com/6A0k9qEWWm

Guru, in several interviews, revealed that due to the differences between him and Richie, all efforts to reach Kuami Eugene and Kidi for collaborations have proven futile.
Reacting to Guru’s claims, Kuami Eugene in an interview on Adom TV said that the ‘Lapaz Toyota‘ hitmaker did not use the right channels to reach him.
According to him to the Lynx signee, he has no knowledge of the differences between Guru and his boss, however, he could not have accepted the collaboration since he is still under Richie’s label.
“Guru did not use the right channel. You want to feature me but you go to media houses to insult the man who made me. I wouldn’t have been Kuami Eugene but for Richie so I expect that respect is accorded him no matter the differences that exist. I am under Lynx Entertainment and any song I produce needs to go through them.”
