The wide-open rift between the Chief Executive Officer of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah and colleague musician, Maradona Yeboah Adjei, otherwise known as Guru NKZ did not start today, you would know this if you’re an ardent follower of GH showbiz.
News of the longstanding beef first hit the public when Guru granted an interview on the “Atuu” show hosted by Okay FM and UTV’s Abeiku Santana some months back. The discussion continued on Abeiku Santana’s own private channel where Guru spilt a lot more.
Richie Mensah has finally opened up about the recent happenings following an interview his artist, Kuami Eugene granted to Adom TV last week.
In an open letter to Guru, Richie Mensah recounted how the whole issue came about.
“Guru asked Lynx for a feature with either KiDi or Kuami Eugene, but the request was denied.”
Without explaining why Guru’s request for a feature was denied, Richie goes on to deny having any knowledge about what the ‘Lapaz Toyota‘ hitmaker has been alleging for over a year now.
Richie added that Kuami Eugene said nothing wrong and that he would have put his artiste in order as a “responsible leader” if he said anything foul. I’m a responsible leader, and I would have chastised my artist if he spoke out of turn.”
“Let’s call a spade a spade. There was nothing disrespectful in what Eugene said.
