Father of late Ebony Reigns has said in an interview that his daughter worked hard and deserves more than she’s getting from the industry.
He spoke to Chelsy Sey on YFM’s ‘Ryse N Shyne’ as the industry observed three years of her demise.
“Once upon a time, there lived a queen so sober, so energetic, and so beautiful. She was so determined and a hard worker. I want people to remember that. She didn’t make that on a silver platter she did work hard and indeed as I said there lived a queen.”
“She deserves better than what I am seeing though. She deserves much better. They should be promoting her here and there. There are many things the industry can do and should be doing to promote Ebony Reigns and as it is, they are not doing so,” Mr Kwarteng added.
Dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns together with her personal assistant, Frankie Kuri and a military officer identified as Atsu Vondee met their untimely death on their way back to Accra when their Jeep run into a bus heading to Kumasi on February 8, 2018.
