Final year students have expressed their displeasure at the time the Ghana Education Service (GES) chose to release vital information that could have saved them the time and cost they put in preparing for school.
The GES, on Tuesday, announced that it has rescheduled the reopening dates for final year SHS students to May 5. The service said in a Facebook post that it comes as a consideration of a proposal from the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS).
The students had already left home for school since they were previously informed that schools were due for reopening today, April 6. Those who got to their schools were turned away while others were reportedly in transit when the message got to them.
This has since caused an outrage on social media especially under the Facebook post made by GES.
Here are some reactions.
