Cristiano Ronaldo Equals Asamoah Gyan’s Record After Firing Portugal To Victory Against Hungary

Cristiano Ronaldo, arguably the Greatest Footballer Of All Time (GOAT), has equaled a record which was held by Asamoah Gyan after the former led Portugal to a 3-0 victory against Hungary in the ongoing EUROS. The first goal was scored by Raphael Guerrero and the other two goals were scored by…..well, guess who??????

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice. His first being a penalty and his second, an extremely beautiful goal which reminded us of his ‘youthful’ days; Cristiano Ronaldo weaved through a host of Hungary players before firing past the helpless Gulacsi.

As a result, Cristiano Ronaldo has become the second player (after Asamoah Gyan) in the history of football to score in nine consecutive major international tournaments.
