Keche Pleads With Ghanaians To Stop Saying They Used Their Fathers For Rituals

Ghanaian music duo, Keche has asked Ghanaians to stop peddling false news about the death of their fathers.

The fathers of both artistes reportedly passed on three days apart. Keche Andrew lost his father on Friday, May 21, 2021, and Keche Joshua’s father died on Monday, May 24, 2021.

Since then, some fans have insinuated that the ‘Pressure‘ hitmakers may have used their fathers for rituals since they are not as vibrant as they used to be some years ago.

In an interview with Zionfelix on the sidelines of the Ghana Music Awards USA Nominees Announcement party, the music duo said when such news is broadcasted, it is their families that get hurt the most since they have developed a tough skin for the industry. Keche Joshua recounted how his stepmother called him and cried on the phone.

Keche bagged five nominations at the upcoming Ghana Music Awards USA.

Their monster hit song ‘No Dulling’ featuring Kuami Eugene secured for them four nominations in such categories as Producer/Sound Engineer of the Year, Popular Song of the Year, Afro Beats/Pop song of the Year, Best Group of the Year and Hiplife/Hiphop Song of the Year.
