Former Black Stars defender John Paintsil has said that Milovan Rajevac will face an arduous task to qualify the Black Stars for the 2022 WC if he is confirmed as the Stars’ new coach.
Milovan Rajevac is in pole position to be named as the Stars’ new head coach following the axing of C.K Akonnor.
However, John Paintsil, who played under Milovan Rajevac from 2008-2010 believes that Milovan Rajevac does not have sufficient knowledge about the current Black Stars squad hence it will take a miracle for him to qualify the Stars 2022 WC.
“If it is true Milo is taking over the job then I will say the timing is wrong because how well does he know this current team.
Our time was different because all the players were already made and it will take only a miracle to help him qualify this team”.
Ghana presently has three points after two matches.
