Reggae/Dancehall artiste Samini is having a good laugh after his archrival Shatta Wale staged a fake gun attack that backfired in less than 24 hours.
The expensive joke triggered the Ghana Police Service to initiate a search party for Shatta Wale and some Ghanaians are calling for his arrest for causing fear and panic.
Samini in a tweet mocked his counterpart for always claiming a “hard guy” but he has gone into hiding as the police search for him.
“Chairman [sic] @shattawalegh go crack expensive joke but the current #igp is not laffin… now the matter chop hot and gangsters are now on the run. Accra is #burning.. ok I stop I stop. Bandana ne gyimiii di3 ooo d333bida smh,” Samini wrote on Twitter.
On Monday, October 18, Shatta Wale was reportedly shot by unknown gunmen but managed to escape. His Personal Assistant’s WhatsApp status had it that the artist has since gone missing after the event.
However, Shatta Wale has come out to apologise to his fans and anyone affected by the prank and denied allegations that he has been shot. He also claimed that he has been in hiding following the death prophecy by one man of God who said he would be shot and killed on that day.
Shatta Wale also blamed the Ghana Police Service for failing to provide him with protection after the man of God’s doom prophecy.
